Who we are
Here's the deal, Tree of Life Church cares about one thing more than anything else, Jesus Christ. Tree of Life Church is a family of individuals that have found hope in Jesus, and simply want as many people as possible to experience that exact same freedom.
We believe that our church should be full of the Word, full of the Spirit, full of the nations and filled with love. We believe that people who come to our churches should be inspired to dream big dreams, and challenged to make the choices necessary to live in those dreams. We believe that the cross of Jesus Christ is a complete work and does not need to be added to by our works, we simply need to believe what Jesus has done.
Where we come from
Tree of Life Church began in Benjamin and Amanda's living room in Dagenham, Essex, in 2009, with only one other person - Poonam Seth. Over the weeks and months, the gathering began to grow until it outgrew our house, and we had to hire a hall, our first public service being Easter Sunday 2010, which was March 20th. We are now in the Vue Cinema in Dagenham, have planted a great family of churches, are on Christian TV every week, and run two leadership academies and two powerful annual national conferences - one on raising up leaders, one on national revival.
Where we're headed
What's the bottom line? More than ever, Tree of Life Church is committed to fostering a family built around hope. Hope for the future. Hope for better. Hope for progress. Hope in Jesus. And as we move forward as a church family, inclusion and belonging remain at the center of who we are as followers of Christ.
Our dream is to plant so many churches in the United Kingdom that no one has to drive more than one hour to be at a Tree of Life Church. We would also like to start some new churches in other countries too!
