The wisdom Fast 2026
Who wants to be promoted and exalted? Because there is a way to guarantee promotion and exaltation this year, and it’s called wisdom.
Proverbs 4.7-8 tells us that the “The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom and whatever you get, get insight. Prize her highly, and she will exalt you; she will honour you if you embrace her”.
If you prize wisdom highly, wisdom will exalt you! The NKJV tells us “Exalt her, and she will promote you”. The Hebrew word used here is spelled as “teromemekha”, and it means to elevate to a higher level. Wisdom will lift you up to a higher level. How high a level could wisdom lift you to? Well, the word is used in Isaiah 6.1 – “I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lifted up”. Wisdom can lift you up to the level of God Himself, the same place, the same authority, the same wisdom, the same perspective as God!

About The fast

So, this year, I am calling a fast from Monday 9th March to Sunday 29th March, but this is a fast with a difference. A fast is generally something that is giving something up: in a Daniel fast, Daniel gave up meat, and generally people give up eating during a fast.
But in this fast, we are not just going to give something up, but we are going to add something to our daily routine for these 21 days. We are going to add something that brings more wisdom and therefore brings more exaltation. The levels that we might reach are unlimited.
The Details
So, what I want everyone in the Tree of Life Church Family to do is join us in the fast by choosing one thing to give up for the fast and choose one thing to add to your daily routine for the fast. Choose one thing from each of the following lists, and keep to it from the 9th to the 29th. It’s going to be life changing!
The give up list
1. Only eat within a six-hour window. So, for example, you could eat between 12noon and 6pm, or if you need to eat later then maybe between 4pm and 10pm. Outside of those hours, limit yourself to water or drinks such as black tea or coffee.

the daily routine list
1. Pray in tongues for 45 minutes a day
2. Read the book of Isaiah (it is 66 chapters, so you will need to read 3 chapters a day, and four on Sundays to get through it evenly)
3. Read three books in the 21 days, one by Andrew Wommack, one by Kenneth Hagin, and one by John Maxwell. That’s going to take a lot of time, but it will give you a concentrated dose of wisdom
.4. Listen to a Tree of Life sermon on the app every day.
2. Read the book of Isaiah (it is 66 chapters, so you will need to read 3 chapters a day, and four on Sundays to get through it evenly)
