Gates of the City is the leadership training academy of the Tree of Life Family. It is a powerful set of modules on Saturday mornings that will inspire you to dream big, challenge you to live your dreams and help you be the leader you have always dreamed of being. This will start Saturday 13th January 2024.

You can attend the whole year, or pick the modules that interest you the most, whether you are in formal leadership positions or not. To attend Gates of the City Leadership Academy, you must be a minimum of 16 years old.

How to start a message well, how to finish a message well, how to structure your message, illustrate your points with power and how to minister the Word in a way that genuinely helps people.

NOTE: this course is for pastors, directors and elders in the Tree of Life Family of churches only. Our courses below are open to anyone.

In this course, using the School of the Spirit material from Marcus Wick, we will go deep into what the Word of God teaches about the spiritual gifts, examining the gifts of the Spirit, the ministrations of the Spirit and the fivefold ministry. This will equip you to flow in the gifts to a greater measure and become a more committed and contributing member of the body of Christ.

NOTICE: there are 18 sessions in part 1, and 38 sessions in total. This is a very comprehensive course, and will run nearly every Saturday in 2024. We also hope to have some session with Marcus live. Watch this space!

This coming Saturday, Saturday 11th May, at 10.30am, we are starting a new module for Go Wide. We are going to look at the issue of creation and evolution.

Many believers are excited to learn more in face of skeptical challenges, and to also aid in evangelism.

This new 12-part course will make it easy to continue the teaching on origins in further depth. Targeted to lay audiences, each video in this 12-part The Genesis Academy series is no more than 40 minutes in length, so it’s ideal for adult and teen Sunday School, Bible studies or even Sunday night screenings.

All the presentations have high quality visuals and footage to keep viewers engaged. Our hope is that this will become an essential staple for every church. Why? Because it is so important to get a correct understanding of the Bible’s foundational chapters right—and this series achieves just that!
