The Love of God

God is love and before the foundations of the earth, he loved Jesus (John 17:24). God's love toward us was demonstrated by giving up his only begotten/beloved son to die for our sins such that whosoever believes in him will not perish but is welcomed into the family of the beloved. His love is unconditional and there is nothing we can do now to make him love you more. Paul prayed in Ephesians 3 vs 17 -19 that ''Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith, and that being rooted and established in love, we may have power, with all God's people to grasp how wide, long and high and deep is the love of Christ and to know this love that surpasses knowledge that you maybe filled to the measure of all the fullness of God'.
