What To Do When Faith Feels Stuck? (Part 2)

Sep 7, 2025    Ashley Nekati

This message emphasizes that faith, as depicted in the Bible, is inherently practical and active rather than passive or theoretical. Faith is described as a proactive walk that requires effort, persistence, and engagement, especially when facing obstacles or opposition. It is not about idly hoping for change but about moving decisively to claim God’s blessings and fulfil His will. Without action, faith is ineffective—mere wishful thinking. Therefore, believers are encouraged to put “feet to their faith” by actively pursuing their spiritual inheritance and trusting God through tangible deeds.

Sermon Highlights:

🛶 Noah’s faith was demonstrated by building the ark, an act of obedience to unseen warnings.

🚪 Faith often requires persistence and effort to overcome obstacles and “kick down doors.”

🏥 The men who brought their paralyzed friend to Jesus showed faith through bold, creative action.

🔥 Faith is not passive waiting but an active, forceful pursuit of God’s promises.

🌙 Faith includes declaring God’s Word confidently, even in difficult or uncertain circumstances.

✋ Faith without action is ineffective and merely wishful thinking.

👣 True faith “walks” and moves, showing itself through deeds and perseverance.
