04. Do All Things Work Together For Good?

A lot of modern religious teaching obscures the cross of Jesus, the source of all grace, so it makes it hard for us to have faith in God's grace. Today, I want to deal with what I consider to be a false and damaging doctrine and that is the idea that "all things work together for good". Now, you may be thinking: but that is Scripture, Ben, that is the Word of God, it must be true - but here is the reality - you cannot rip a verse in two, a sentence in two and then take that half a sentence and build a doctrine on it, we need to read the Word in context. Today, I will put Romans 8.28 back in context and you will find the truth of it is even more powerful and beautiful than you have ever dreamed!
